Ask about 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yard containers. Not every provider stocks every size, so have a second choice in mind.
Sizes, rules and costs, explained for Lower Alsace renters.
Public events and many job sites call for accessible units. Federal standards generally ask that part of a cluster, and at least one unit, be accessible. Your Lower Alsace event permit or site contract may spell out exactly how many you need.
On private property, usually not. On a street, sidewalk or other public right of way, many towns do require one, and the rules differ across PA. Check with the Lower Alsace public works or permit office before the drop-off date.
Usually, as long as the container is sized for the weight. Layers matter: two layers on a Lower Alsace roof can double the tonnage. Have your square count ready, and ask whether shingles need to stay separate from other debris where you are.
Landfill rules drive this list. Paint, solvents, oil, batteries, chemicals and appliances holding refrigerant are commonly refused, and Lower Alsace disposal sites may add others. Tell the provider about anything unusual before you load it.
Container size, rental length, what is going in it, how far the hauler drives and local landfill fees all play a part. Lower Alsace rates come from the provider who covers your address, so ask what weight is included and what an overage costs.
Rentals generally include a set tonnage, and anything above it is billed by the ton once the load crosses the scale. Roofing, dirt and masonry reach that limit quickly. Ask for the included weight and the per-ton rate for Lower Alsace before you start loading.
